Located in beautiful parkland grounds in Sidcup, Kent, Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance runs the following music related degree programmes:

BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship

The Actor Musicianship programme offers distinctive and practical training for actors who have musical skills. Students are guided by experienced staff, who help to develop the skills of the actor musician for use within a variety of performance contexts.

MA/MFA Actor Musicianship

This brand new vocational postgraduate programme builds on and extends the work developed on the BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship programme, drawing on the College’s strong links to theatre makers, directors, choreographers, writers, musical directors and performers involved in the development of this innovative area of theatre practice.

BA (Hons) Opera Studies (by online learning)

This flexible online degree programme explores all the elements of this amazing and versatile art form, guided by expert tutors. It is an ideal complement to vocal studies and equips directors and singers alike to fully appreciate the material they work with.

BA (Hons) Music Studies (by online learning)

Built on the success of the BA (Hons) Opera Studies programme This is a unique and bespoke online degree offering a balanced view of the history of music.

We are based at the heart of Newcastle University's city-centre campus, with purpose-built high-specification studios and rehearsal spaces. We provide students with a first-class education in music, across musicology, performance and composition. As one of the largest music departments in the country, we offer extensive performance opportunities for our students. Our vibrant community of scholars and practitioners research, compose and perform a broad musical repertoire - covering classical to contemporary, jazz to folk, and everything in between. We have strong links across the region with key venues and institutions including the SAGE Gateshead, home of the Royal Northern Sinfonia and Folkworks, the Samling Academy and Opera North.

Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music

Inspirational, life-affirming music-making is at the heart of who we are and what we do at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. Centered in one of the world’s most innovative and dynamic countries, we believe we are uniquely placed to offer today’s world a distinct and powerful contemporary Asian voice.

Founded in 2003, YST has quickly established a reputation as the most exciting international conservatory in Asia and one of the most distinctive in the world. With a focus on nurturing identity and excellence, it is primarily an undergraduate institution, offering full financial support for all of its 220 BMus students thanks to the support of the Yong Loo Lin Trust and other donors.

YST also hosts an extensive performance calendar with around 200 concerts annually, including a range of international artists and ensembles as well as student and faculty events. The Conservatory also has a significant community engagement and professional integration programme, as well as strong support for students' international ventures. Additionally, we are also involved in a range of international networks and partnerships, which enhance the student experience and accompany our continued evolution as we give music greater resonance.

The Juilliard School

Founded in 1905, The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education.
