Flanders Recorder Quartet:music by JS Bach and Telemann arranged for 4 recorders

Saturday, March 17, 2018 - 19:30

JS Bach is without a doubt the greatest musical genius that Western culture has produced. His vast yield of outstanding works is constantly performed in a variety of styles and genres. The diversity of his output is presented by the Flanders Recorder Quartet with arrangements of expressive chorales, inventive preludes and fugues and lively Italianate concerti. Music owes as much to Bach as religion to its founder (Robert Schumann).
